David Bartz CFP® is the founder and president of Buckingham Financial. Upon graduation the University of Wisconsin-Madison, David began his career with Edward Jones Investments. Always looking to expand his financial knowledge, he received his Certified Financial Planning certification from Northwestern University.

In 2011, David decided in order to offer his clients his objective opinions and expand his offerings, he would join LPL Financial. Since then, David has been able to offer his clients products and services from hundreds of money managers, insurance companies, and alternative investment providers. With an emphasis on retirement planning, investment management, wealth preservation, and estate planning, David focuses his attention on helping individuals and business owners pursue their financial goals.

David has been very involved in his local chambers of commerce, served as the president of the Lemont Chamber of Commerce, and is a supporter of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. David married his wife Anna in 2012 and their first child, Samantha, was born in 2016.
